Family migration is one of the major components of the Australian migration program. Currently, there are four family stream visas. These include partner, child, parent and relatives.
A requirement for the subclasses of Family visas is that the primary visa applicant be related to an Australian citizen, permanent resident or an eligible NZ citizen. In addition to the existence of the relationship a large number of other requirements must also be satisfied in order for a visa to be granted.
Family are one of the most important aspects of life so you can be sure that with TIG you will benefit from the best possible care.
There are a number of categories of General Skilled Migrant visas which are designed to allow skilled foreign workers to remain in Australia on either a temporary or permanent basis.
General Skilled Migration requires all applicants to meet certain fundamental or ‘threshold’ criteria. Additionally, some GSM subclasses require the main applicant to undergo a formal assessment that their skills are suitable for migration to Australia in a skilled occupation.
At TIG we will complete a full assessment of your background and advise you on whether the skilled category is the most relevant stream. With nine visa subclasses within this category we are here to take your worries away by ensuring you are heading in the right direction.

Australia is one of the most ethnically diverse societies in the world today
Almost one in four Australian residents were born outside of Australia and many more are first or second generation Australians, the children and grandchildren of recently arrived migrants and refugees.
This wide variety of backgrounds, together with the culture of Indigenous Australians who have lived on the Australian continent for more than 50,000 years, have helped create a uniquely Australian identity and spirit.
There were over 500 different Indigenous Australian clan groups or ‘nations’ around the continent, many with distinctive cultures, beliefs and languages.
Today, Indigenous people make up 2.4 per cent of the total Australian population (about 460,000 out of 22 million people).
Australia is unique. The only country to also be a continent, this great island is the 6th largest nation when measured by land area, yet home to only 23 million people. Perhaps because of this geographic isolation, Australians have become one of the most innovative and technologically advanced people in the world.
Two-thirds of Australia is desert, yet we have one of the richest and most varied ecosystems to be found anywhere. Home to many plants, birds and animals found nowhere else, Australia’s extraordinary natural environment has something to please everyone.
Australia’s population includes migrants from roughly 200 countries. This diverse population has resulted in a rich multicultural community—each migrant group contributing to the nation’s cultural heritage.
Evolving into one of the most biologically diverse regions in the world, with a beautifully sunny climate, Australian culture and lifestyle is what makes this extraordinary place an unforgettable place to chose as your home!
There is no shortage of culture with fantastic museums and galleries, a thriving theatre and music scene and fantastic restaurants and coffee.
Australia is a place that holds onto your heart and leaves you missing the smell of Eucalyptus trees, the screech of a cockatoo or the serene image of a kangaroo hopping along the beach.
