Our Difference

The difference begins with the breadth of experience and the level of professionalism

About Us

The Immigration Group (TIG) is a family owned business who have been advising and guiding people seeking to migrate since the 1990’s. TIG has experience in all streams, particularly the temporary and permanent employer nomination streams, skilled, business, partner, to name but a few. We will guide you step by step through all visa procedures and applications, remove the headache and enable you to carry on with your life until the whole process is complete. However, this is not where our service ends and a large portion of our business are repeat clients or referrals with which we assist with permanent residency and citizenship applications.

The important thing for you is that we are on the ground here in Perth and we have a combined experience of 40+ years within Migration. All our operations are fully transparent and with our Director Lance Fee having previously held the position of Director for MARA (Migration Agent Registration Authority) for over three years, as well as having been President of the MIA (Migration Institute of Australia) Western Australia Branch, you can rest assured you will be in safe hands.

Our Services

The TIG team is expert in Australian migration law, respected for their professionalism together with a friendly caring and honest reputation. Above all we are here to get our client the best possible outcome.

Benefit From Working With Our Migration Agents

As a business owner, you need the most skilled employees to work for you. Sometimes, though, those experts don’t live in Australia. When you need to bring employees from overseas, you need to ensure they have properly completed the visa process. While a temporary visa allows these individuals to work for you for a time, they’ll need to file for a permanent visa if they wish to stay with your company long-term.

With the help of reliable migration agents from The Immigration Group (TIG), you and your employees can have all the proper paperwork completed in a timely manner.

Who We Serve and How We Serve

Our migration agents based in Western Australia do more than help you and your employees apply for a temporary or permanent visa. We also work with the following individuals who wish to acquire a visa:

  1. Australian Permanent Residents or Citizens wishing to sponsor their overseas partner.
  2. Families who want to sponsor overseas parents or family members.
  3. Students who wish to study at Australian educational institutions

Our team is proficient in Australian migration law, so you can trust us to get you the best outcome possible. As you work with one of our migration agents, you can ensure that the entire process goes smoothly.

We guide you through every step of the visa application process as well as the procedures that follow. Once your visa has been approved, we can also help you with citizenship and permanent residency applications if you want to become an Australian citizen.

The Visa Experts

We are specialists across all visa categories.

Our clients’ range from small business to large corporations across a broad range of sectors, including retail, government, health, resources and technology to name a few. The main focus with our corporate clients is to assist them throughout the entire migration sponsorship and nomination  ensuring that the process is as seamless as possible,  in securing their skilled overseas workers.

Our team is familiar with the entire temporary and permanent employer visa categories, and are happy to advise employers on their best avenue of sponsorship.

TIG keeps abreast of all the latest changes made regarding the visa streams and regularly update employers on any change that may affect them.

We are abreast of the recent changes to the 457 visa stream and those relating to Citizenship.

Family migration is one of the major components of the Australian migration program. Currently, there are four family stream visas. These include partner, child, parent and relatives.

A requirement for the subclasses of Family visas is that the primary visa applicant be related to an Australian citizen, permanent resident or an eligible NZ citizen. In addition to the existence of the relationship a large number of other requirements must also be satisfied in order for a visa to be granted.

Family are one of the most important aspects of life so you can be sure that with TIG you will benefit from the best possible care.

There are a number of categories of General Skilled Migrant visas which are designed to allow skilled foreign workers to remain in Australia on either a temporary or permanent basis.

General Skilled Migration requires all applicants to meet certain fundamental or ‘threshold’ criteria. Additionally, some GSM subclasses require the main applicant to undergo a formal assessment that their skills are suitable for migration to Australia in a skilled occupation.

At TIG we will complete a full assessment of your background and advise you on whether the skilled category is the most relevant stream. With nine visa subclasses within this category we are here to take your worries away by ensuring you are heading in the right direction.

Our Australia

Australia is one of the most ethnically diverse societies in the world today

Our People

Almost one in four Australian residents were born outside of Australia and many more are first or second generation Australians, the children and grandchildren of recently arrived migrants and refugees.

This wide variety of backgrounds, together with the culture of Indigenous Australians who have lived on the Australian continent for more than 50,000 years, have helped create a uniquely Australian identity and spirit.

There were over 500 different Indigenous Australian clan groups or ‘nations’ around the continent, many with distinctive cultures, beliefs and languages.

Today, Indigenous people make up 2.4 per cent of the total Australian population (about 460,000 out of 22 million people).

Our Country

Australia is unique. The only country to also be a continent, this great island is the 6th largest nation when measured by land area, yet home to only 23 million people. Perhaps because of this geographic isolation, Australians have become one of the most innovative and technologically advanced people in the world.

Two-thirds of Australia is desert, yet we have one of the richest and most varied ecosystems to be found anywhere. Home to many plants, birds and animals found nowhere else, Australia’s extraordinary natural environment has something to please everyone.

Australia’s population includes migrants from roughly 200 countries. This diverse population has resulted in a rich multicultural community—each migrant group contributing to the nation’s cultural heritage.

Our Lifestyle

Evolving into one of the most biologically diverse regions in the world, with a beautifully sunny climate, Australian culture and lifestyle is what makes this extraordinary place an unforgettable place to chose as your home!

There is no shortage of culture with fantastic museums and galleries, a thriving theatre and music scene and fantastic restaurants and coffee.

Australia is a place that holds onto your heart and leaves you missing the smell of Eucalyptus trees, the screech of a cockatoo or the serene image of a kangaroo hopping along the beach.
